I have been lucky to share my life with chickens for over 30 years. Your birds will be treated as if they were mine.

With your agreement the treats in the afternoon is lettuce, spinach grapes or watermelon. I also give mine a couple of handfuls of calciworms (which are fed on a vegetarian diet). Again with your agreement your birds can have a couple of handful, dry or soaked. I feed Allen & Page layers pellets, or Marriages Growers – or simply bring your own.

I am happy to give you regular updates whilst you are away.  I can collect the eggs and save them for your return or hatch them in my incubator.

Your birds will be very safe in my rodent proof house and run and fox proof garden.

Cleaning practices

My welfare standards are high. Between guests, the coop is jet washed, disinfected,  fresh bedding, diatomaceous earth, the feeders and drinkers are also disinfected.
